2019-20 New & Returning Student
Online Registration Open Now
STEP 1: Create an Account
For parents registering students new to AISD, a Parent Cloud account must be created before you can access the online registration system. To create a Parent Cloud account, visit my.austinisd.org.
STEP 2: Find Your School
Find your student’s school assignment by residential address using the SARA lookup system and refer to the instructions on the page.
Step 3: Register Online
Go to my.austinisd.org to create your account.
Fill out the Parent Cloud Registration form.
Families of returning students should check the ‘Parent/Guardian Contact of a current AISD student’ box, enter your child’s information, then click Next. The forms will have pre-populated information from the student’s current record. Some data (appears grayed out) will be view only. You will have to visit the schools campus to make changes to these fields. If making a Parent Cloud Account is new for you, an email will be sent to the address you provided. Verify your email address and activate your account.
Once your account has been made, log in. Click the AISD Registration icon on the Cloud Desktop.

Note: Only Parent/Guardian contacts are able to use the online registration system. If you have any questions or need assistance with Parent Cloud or online registration, please call Parent Technology Support at 512-414-9187.
step 4: Gather Documents
Parents registering students new to AISD will need to provide the following documentation at the child’s campus:
- Child’s birth certificate
- Child’s social security card (optional)
- Child’s immunization records
- Child’s withdrawal form/last report card (if applicable)
- Parent/Guardian photo ID
- Proof of guardianship (if applicable)
- Proof of residency
Get information regarding the enrollment of students in foster care or under the guardianship of DFPS.
FAMILIES OF RETURNING STUDENTS who have had a recent change of address must submit proof of residency to their campus for the 2019-20 school year. Please note that additional documentation may be requested by campus to complete enrollment.
